Aluminium 1100 foils are primarily composed of 99% pure aluminium, with trace amounts of other elements like copper, iron, and silicon. This composition gives the material excellent corrosion resistance and high formability. The mechanical properties of Aluminium 1100 foils include a tensile strength of around 125 MPa, yield strength of 70 MPa, and elongation of 30%. It is highly ductile, easy to work with, and can be easily deep-drawn or formed into intricate shapes. Due to its softness, it’s ideal for applications requiring high corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity.
